Security Doors

What brands of security doors do you install?

We install Panther Protect — two of Australia's leading security door and screen brands. Both meet or exceed Australian Standard AS5039.

What types of security doors are available?

We supply hinged (single and double), sliding, stacking and bi-fold security doors. Panther Protect's corner-closing stacker doors are particularly popular for large alfresco openings.

Can security doors be made in custom colours?

Yes — frames are available in a wide range of powdercoat colours to match your existing window frames and home exterior.

How long does security door installation take?

Most security door installations are completed in a single visit, typically 1–3 hours depending on the number and type of doors being installed.

Window Security Screens

What makes security screens different from regular fly screens?

Security screens use Grade 316 marine-grade stainless steel mesh in a heavy-duty aluminium frame, tested to AS5039. Regular fly screens use lightweight aluminium or fibreglass mesh that can be pushed out easily.

Will security screens block my view?

Very minimally. The ultra-fine stainless steel mesh is virtually invisible from inside the home. Most customers report no noticeable change to their outlook or natural light levels.

Are security screens suitable for all window types?

Yes — we can manufacture screens for sliding, casement, awning, louvre, double-hung and bi-fold windows. Custom sizes available for any opening.

Do security screens keep insects out as well?

Absolutely. The stainless steel mesh is fine enough to prevent mosquitoes, flies and other insects from entering while still allowing good airflow.

Blinds & Shutters

What internal blind types do you supply?

We supply roller blinds (blockout, translucent and screen), day-night dual-fabric blinds, honeycomb/cellular blinds and plantation shutters — all custom made to your window dimensions.

What external blind options are available?

We supply zip track blinds, outdoor roller blinds and folding arm awnings. Zip track blinds are our most popular choice for alfresco enclosures due to their wind-rated side channels.

Can blinds be motorised?

Yes — motorisation is available across our internal and external blind range. Motorised options are especially popular for large windows, high windows and outdoor zip track blinds. Smart home integration is available on select systems.

Are your blinds child-safe?

Yes — we offer cordless operation and wand-control options across our blind range. All products comply with current Australian child safety standards for window coverings.

Roller Shutters

What are the main benefits of roller shutters?

Roller shutters provide security, complete blackout, significant noise reduction (up to 50%), and heat reduction (up to 70%) in a single product. They're particularly effective on west-facing windows that get afternoon sun.

Manual or motorised — which should I choose?

Motorised is our most popular option due to the convenience — one-touch control via remote. Manual shutters are a cost-effective choice for windows that don't need to be opened and closed frequently.

Can roller shutters be retro-fitted to existing windows?

Yes — roller shutters can be retro-fitted to virtually any existing window or door opening. The housing box mounts above the opening with guide channels on each side.

Quotes & Process

How do I get a quote?

Call us on 0493 860 687 or fill in the contact form on our website. We'll schedule a convenient time to come to your home, measure up and provide a clear written quote — completely free and with no obligation.

How long does the quote-to-installation process take?

Typically 1–3 weeks from quote to installation, depending on product lead times and our current schedule. We'll give you a clear timeframe at the time of quoting.

Do you provide written quotes?

Yes — all quotes are provided in writing with a clear itemised breakdown of products and installation costs. No hidden charges or surprises.

Is there a call-out fee for quotes?

No — measure and quote visits are completely free with no obligation. We come to you at a time that suits you.

🛡

Warranty & Aftercare

What warranty do you offer?

We offer a 10-year warranty on all security screen installations. Other products are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties — we'll make these clear at the time of quoting.

What if something isn't right after installation?

Call us. We stand behind every job we do, and we'll come back to sort any issue. This is the advantage of dealing with a local, owner-operated business.

How do I maintain my security screens?

Security screens are low maintenance. Periodically wipe down the mesh and frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent. In coastal areas, a more frequent rinse with fresh water helps prevent salt buildup.
